The Wiloth Ridge Horse Camp starts this summer with great enthusiasm! We are so excited for our joint mainstream/therapeutic summer day camps to get started this year! With all of the activities we have planned, your child is sure to have a great time, all the while learning new things about horses, nature and each other. Horses, and horse activities will be the main focus of camp with nature hikes, games, crafts and good old fashion fun added to the mix as well. Our goal is to provide an environment that promotes safety, learning, acceptance, trust, and confidence for each and every child. All counselors at camp have been trained to work with therapy campers as well as mainstream campers.
A typical day at camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a morning ice breaker & song, lots of time with horses, crafts, nature hikes and games. Each day will end with lunch from 11:30-12:00 p.m. A camp store selling snacks, drinks and cool stuff will be open daily from 11:30-12:00.
